“Playing at home will be useful and take the stress off us, because of the massive support we are hoping to enjoy but it also means we have to deliver and that is an expectation not hope.” Appiah declared.

The Black Stars are also without midfield anchorman Michael Essien who is out injured will be sorely missed by his colleagues but the skipper believes they owe him that homour of a massive victory.

It is almost full house with arrival last night of France based deputy skipper John Mensah, Haminu Dramani from Russia and Anthony Annan from Norway. The team is only awaiting the arrival of Nac Breda’s Matthew Amoah due to arrive Tuesday night.

The list of foreign-based stars available included former Kpando Heart of Lions Stade Rennes’ John Boye, Fulham’s John Paintsil, Eric Addo of PSV Eindhoven, Saudi based Prince Tagoe, Wigan’s Richard Kingson and George Owu also based in Egypt.

-- Mary Lou Retton, Olympic Gymnast and Inspirational Speaker

"Do you want to be safe and good, or do you want to take a chance and be great?"
-- Jimmy Johnson, Football Coach

"The more I want to get something done, the less I call it work."
-- Richard Bach

"Each indecision brings its own delays and days are lost lamenting over lost days...What you can do or think you can do, begin it. For boldness has magic, power, and genius in it."
-- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
