Gyan secures record move to Sunderland
Ghana and Stade Rennes striker Asamoah Gyan nicked a move on the final day of the transfer window to Sunderland for a club record fee of £13m. He becomes the second Ghanaian after Stars deputy captain John Mensah to join the Black Cats.

The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the addendum for its Extra Ordinary Congress session scheduled for August 18, 2010. Young international Rabiu Mohammed has joined French second division side Evian Thonon Gaillard on loan until the end of the season from Italian side Udinese.
